If you have your own (sentimental) props or accessories that you would like to incorporate into the photo shoot, that is of course possible.
No! You do not need a professional camera to participate in the course. I’m going to teach you how best to work with the camera you already have, whether it’s a smartphone, compact or DSLR camera. Everything is welcome!

On Friday, May 17, you will receive via email a link to the online environment for the course. The course will be made available through the Huddle platform/app.
After you purchase the presets, you will receive an email containing a ZIP file with the presets.
You can download this as with any App on your cell phone for free from the AppStore.
You can use any photo via Lightroom export to your photos. Also, by default, the photo remains available post-processed in Lightroom.
The theme-shoot subscription is valid for 2 years, starting on the day of the first photo shoot.
After starting the course, you will have access to the course materials for 2 years, so you can learn at your own pace and review the content should you wish to do so.
Upon purchase, you get a manual on how to install the presets. You can also find numerous videos on YouTube with clear explanations.
Unfortunately, I cannot provide the original, unedited photos. My process includes carefully selecting and editing the images to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.
At the start of our photo shoot, you will have the opportunity to choose your favorite from my collection of maternity dresses. You can, of course, wear these during the photo shoot. Would you rather wear your own outfit? Of course, that’s no problem either!
My main advice is to wear something you feel comfortable as well as beautiful and good in. Wear skin-colored underwear and a supportive, well-fitting bra.

It is an online course with dozens of videos of a few minutes, so you can watch a video – even when you are short on time. This allows you to learn at your own pace and integrate the content.
After all, we live in Belgium, so there is certainly a chance that the weather will not be brilliant. As long as it doesn’t rain, the shoot will go on. The sun is not crucial to taking radiant photos. Do they give really bad weather, like rain? Then I will contact you by email before the photo shoot to set a new moment by mutual agreement. But of course I hope that won’t be necessary :-).
Pregnancy photo shoots are best done when you are 7-8 months pregnant. Are you expecting a multiple birth or on bed rest? Then it is advisable to have your session a little earlier, when you are 6-7 months pregnant.
Did you gain little weight during your pregnancy? Then you can wait until 8-9 months, but of course always keep in mind that your baby could be born prematurely.
The idea is to have your session when your belly is nice and round, but before you start having potential ailments like swollen feet etc.

I recommend that you also pay attention to clothing for your partner and children. It is nice if your partner’s and children’s attire is similar to your attire. This does not mean that everyone should wear the exact same colors, but it is nice if you use the same style and color palette.
If you opt for a fancy/formal look during your photo session, keep in mind that your partner and children will also be wearing a more formal style. If you are coming for a casual photo shoot, have your partner and children come in simpler attire. By the way, avoid logos, texts, busy patterns, etc. on clothing. This is very distracting.
Once you have booked your photo shoot, you will receive a brochure containing some tips on how to best match clothing.
After the photo shoot, I make a wide selection of the best photos. These photos will be posted on an online gallery and sent to you via email. From this gallery you can select your favorite photos and order any extras. Your favorite photos I will manually edit for you. As soon as your photos are finished, I will repost them in the online gallery and send you a download link.

For a newborn photo shoot, it is generally recommended to schedule the session within the first two weeks of the baby’s birth. Preferably, the photo shoot takes place between the fifth and tenth day. During this time, newborns usually sleep deeper and have a more folded sleeping position, which is beneficial for the artistic poses often used during newborn photo shoots.
Within the first two weeks, babies also still have that characteristic flexibility they had in the womb, making it easier to put them in cute positions without discomfort. In addition, babies at this age can still have a kind of natural curl like they had in the womb, which can also benefit the photo shoot.
However, it is important to consider the baby’s health. If the baby has health problems or if the mother had complications during delivery, it may be necessary to adjust the timing of the photo shoot. It is always advisable to inform me in advance of any specific circumstances so that they can plan the session accordingly.
For a maternity photo shoot, it is recommended to book your photo shoot as soon as you are 20 weeks pregnant. This way we have plenty of time to plan the photo shoot, make arrangements and I am definitely in a position to do your photo shoot. If you are a little later in your pregnancy, don’t hesitate to contact me, I may still have a spot available for you!
