What should I wear for my maternity shoot?
The date is set, and then there’s that other, very practical question: what should I actually wear?
Good news – you don’t actually have to lose any sleep over this. We have our own client closet: a collection of carefully selected maternity outfits ready for you to choose from during your shoot.
Our client closet: no stress, no shopping
Outfits from our own collection are included with every package – 2 with Essential, 4 with Signature, 6 with Deluxe. This means: no hours spent searching for “the perfect dress”, no doubts about whether something will look good, and no extra costs for an outfit you’ll only wear once. You just come by, and together we’ll choose what best suits you and the vibe of your shoot on the spot.
Our collection consists of flowing dresses in light, airy fabrics (tulle, chiffon, jersey), in earth tones, pastels, and neutral colors – exactly the style that works best on camera and looks beautiful on every body type.
How does it work on the day itself?
You simply try on a few outfits from the closet, and we’ll help you decide what looks best with the location and the light.
Do you feel most comfortable in something of your own? That’s always an option too – feel free to bring it along, and we’ll be happy to combine it with pieces from our collection.
Torn between several outfits? During our shoots, you can simply change outfits so that you have different looks and vibes in your final photos.
And what if I’d rather bring something myself?
Of course, that’s perfectly fine. A few tips if you choose your own clothing:
Choose flowing fabrics that move beautifully, rather than tight or stiff materials.
Avoid busy prints or bright logos – solid colors draw attention to you and your bump, not the outfit.
Consider seamless underwear in a nude tone under lighter fabrics.
And your partner or children?
They don’t have to wear exactly the same thing as you. Just choose colors from the same soft color family (for example, beige, white, and soft blue together) – it looks cohesive without being too “matchy-matchy.”
