Do you know one of those corners in your home where you feel like something is just missing, or maybe you’re looking for a cool personalized accessory for the nursery or another room in your home?

Would you like to get creative, clear your head & make something yourself to help you forget that? brighten up a corner of the house? Would you like to give a personalized gift to your child/niece/grandchild or have you always wanted to know how such a name pendant?

Madame Tricotin teaches you how to make a name pendant or catchy word with wire and wool. Super cool to brighten up a bookshelf or perhaps add a name or word to a homemade flower hoop?

Punneling?

Punneling, circular knitting, French Knitting – or all the way in French ‘Tricotin’ – is a kind of knitting method, but without knitting needles & has been performed by all ages for generations .

Those who grew up in the 1990s may remember how their grandparents sat with them and taught them how to use a wooden punk doll, wool and crochet needles or how they participated in a knitting course taught at school .

Using a punk bobbin or punk mill, make a hollow cord out of wool. By threading an iron wire through your pinned cord afterwards , you can form a word or name with it!

Practical

  • 2.5-hour workshop

  • Sunday, April 28, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Location: Pure Life Studio (Asiat Park – Vilvoorde)

  • For all ages & no (craft) prior knowledge required
  • You make 1 punk name or word, possibly with transparent hanging wire
  • You choose the color of wool for your piece directly from Madame Tricotin’s large assortment of colors yourself

  • You will learn from Madame Tricotin the tricks of the trade to create a beautiful result & get lots of tips to be able to work at home afterwards if necessary.

  • Cost: 55€ per participant

  • Min. 5 participants, Max. 10 participants, be quick!
